As a qualifying psychotherapist completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with over two years of experience, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and understanding, creating a safe space where clients feel heard and valued.
I specialize in working with teenagers and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) and mindfulness techniques. I believe that every person’s journey is unique, and I tailor my methods to fit your individual needs and goals.
In our sessions, I strive to foster a collaborative relationship, empowering you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we will work towards building resilience, enhancing self-awareness, and cultivating a more fulfilling life.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy hiking, painting, reading, and writing, which helps me maintain balance and bring fresh perspectives to my work.
I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your path to healing and growth.
I understand that we are living in a complex society with numerous stressors and pressures that are placed on individuals, families, and communities, which may result in relational attachment concerns, conflict, emotional dysregulation, and trauma.
I am passionate about working with diverse populations and those who have ongoing trauma or those who have experienced a distressing event in their lives. A trauma-informed and strength-based perspective provides healthy coping strategies and interventions that can assist individuals in overcoming difficult obstacles and gaining positive self-worth in their lives.
I have 18 years of experience working in Toronto and Windsor with individuals, families, and communities who experience trauma, mental health concerns, substance misuse, family conflict, and environmental difficulties.
I am committed to providing a collective and safe therapeutic environment, with particular attention to life-course trauma concerns and factors that influence individuals' interactions with their families and communities. I provide support and advocacy; I strive to provide unconditional positive regard and empowerment for my clients.

Everyone has their own journey and sometimes along that pathway things can become challenging. Life presents stressors and in today’s times it seems that they continue to grow. Having some help along the way, focusing on strengths and working collaboratively would be your experience while working with me. Self-care is something I strongly believe in, knowing your own self-worth and taking care of yourself is so important. My approach is strength based, with connection, empathy and rapport building, the starting point of the sessions. We are a team!
I have 35 years of experience, working in mental health supporting children, youth, families and adults. I have my Child and Youth Worker degree, Addiction Certification and my Bachelor of Social Work. I work from a trauma lens with the focus on connection and collaboration. Throughout my years, I have done training in many areas that focus on behaviour management, motivational interviewing, collaborative problem solving, conscious discipline, addictions, mindfulness and many more.
